The event stage was set six spellbinding categories to ensnare the imagination.

We were grateful to have judges and subject matter experts summoned straight from the Themed Entertainment industry to offer advice, insights, and suggestions from there industry experience.

Special thanks to Jason Embery & Graham Leeb of

The event had 50 participating developers from the games and simulation industry, as well as university students from Embry Riddle, UCF, and Full Sail. The crypt was buzzing, as ideas were pitched, 9 teams formed and the development commenced.

There was never a dull (or safe) moment.

According to the U.S. News & World Report, more than 600,000 US soldiers have died since WWI, and more than 400,000 have died since WWII. Improved training would serve as one of the key controllable factors that can reduce casualties. “By providing soldiers with a more immersive and realistic training environment and allowing them to practice complex tasks before they're deployed on actual missions, these technologies could save lives and make us safer.” - Tom Constable Former British Army officer turned technology entrepreneur & guest contributor on BBC Click on matters related to innovation within the defense industry.
